About this Presentation
Sustaining a Theory of Constraints (TOC) transformation is often harder than achieving the initial breakthrough. In this practical, experience-rich session, Darshan Shah shares how Harkesh Rubber embedded TOC thinking into daily operations and built a culture that consistently delivers high OTIF, reduced WIP, and improved throughput. Drawing on real examples—from training and speaking TOC across the organization to making constraints visible through dashboards and real-time data—the session reveals the actions, habits, and leadership behaviors that prevented regression and enabled continuous improvement. Attendees will walk away with concrete practices for sustaining TOC results long after implementation and ensuring their teams stay aligned, focused, and ready for the next breakthrough.
What Will You Learn
To help you get the most value from this session, we’ve highlighted a few key points. These takeaways capture the main ideas and practical insights from the presentation, making it easier for you to review, reflect, and apply what you’ve learned.
The session reveals why sustaining TOC is primarily an adoption challenge, not a technical one, and how treating TOC as culture changes daily decisions on the shop floor.
It shows how making constraints visible, measurable, and easy to act on keeps focus from drifting back to local efficiency and cost-based thinking.
The presentation hints at how simple routines—training, storytelling, dashboards, and reviews—create continuity even as people, products, and bottlenecks change.
It illustrates how sustained throughput improvement unlocks second-order benefits across quality, delivery, marketing, and new product development.
