About this Presentation

While the basic concepts behind Critical Chain remain valid today, Critical Chain software has changed a lot over the past 30 years. In this presentation, Rob will talk about the evolution of ProChain’s software and how they have managed the inevitable conflict between building capabilities while maintaining simplicity. How can you give users the ability to navigate the different situations they might encounter, while minimizing the difficulties they will have in learning to use the tools?

Plane
The session reveals why Critical Chain software evolution is driven as much by human behavior and adoption challenges as by advances in technology.
It shows how a persistent conflict between adding features and keeping systems simple shapes the success or failure of CCPM tools in real organizations.
The presentation hints at why credibility, transparency, and ease of use matter more than sophistication when organizations are trying to change how projects are managed.
It points toward how AI and automation may shift Critical Chain software from scheduling tools into decision-support systems that guide better project behavior.
