Andressen Hauser implemented Critical Chain Project Management to improve their project management process, leading to a significant reduction in project delay and an increase in the number of completed projects.
The company faced challenges in changing the company culture to adapt to the new project management method, but the implementation team was able to overcome these by focusing on the rules and guidelines they had set.
Despite initial success, recent performance has been similar to pre-implementation levels, indicating the need for continuous improvement and learning. The company plans to reactivate the TOC rules, trust their control loops, and improve individual task handling to get back on track.
