Instructor(s)
Dr. Dietmar Spanke
Dr. Dietmar Spanke studied physics and obtained a PhD from the Institute of Applied Physics at Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf in 1999. In 1998, Dietmar joined Endress+Hauser as a firmware development engineer, focusing on time-of-flight algorithms. From 2004 onwards, he was promoted to the role of Team Leader for firmware development, overseeing a small team of engineers. In 2009, his responsibilities shifted to Project Manager, where he led international, multi-cultural R&D projects. When CCPM was introduced in 2015, Dietmar was part of the implementation team and represented project management. In 2017, he successfully completed his IPMA Level B certification. That same year, he assumed the management of the department, overseeing all R&D project managers. As of 2021, Dietmar has also taken on the additional role of pipeline manager for the development products of Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure.
