About this Presentation
Many healthcare teams struggle to solve problems because they’re unclear on what they’re really trying to achieve. In this keynote, Dr. Benjamin Newman shows how defining the right goal can resolve conflicts, improve focus, and drive better decisions across the system.
What Will You Learn
To help you get the most value from this session, we’ve highlighted a few key points. These takeaways capture the main ideas and practical insights from the presentation, making it easier for you to review, reflect, and apply what you’ve learned.
This session reveals that most improvement efforts fail because teams misidentify the real problem, chasing symptoms instead of uncovering the root constraint that truly limits performance.
It shows how structured analysis — not intuition or hindsight — can transform vague complaints into precise problem statements that point directly to high-impact solutions.
The presentation teases that by stripping away assumptions and focusing on what must be true for the problem to exist, organizations can avoid wasted effort and unlock breakthrough results.
