About this Presentation
Dr. Eli Goldratt, the Father of the Theory of Constraints (TOC), passed away on June 11, 2011. TOCICO organized a special tribute to commemorate and honor Eli's influence and legacy, which has significantly improved the way organizations are managed, as well as leading people to draw the best of their thinking capabilities. Four professors from four different continents throughout the world, presented the influence of Dr. Goldratt on their academic work and personal achievements. This Webinar is 3.5 hours in length.

James R. Holt, Ph.D
Dr Holt is a TOCICO Founder and prior President of TOCICO. He taught the first Critical Chain Course for Goldratt Schools. And, he is a frequent presenter at TOCICO Conferences.
Vicky Mabin
Vicky Mabin, PhD FORS is Adjunct Professor at the Victoria University of Wellington’s School of Business and Government. She has taught several hundred students about TOC and conducted and supervised many projects using TOC. Vicky led the first implementation of TOC in New Zealand in 1987, and has written over 200 journal articles, books, chapters, conference papers, teaching texts, and technical reports, many of which are on TOC. She is leading author of TOC TP articles, and co-author of The World of TOC (2000), bibliographical articles on TOC, and co-creator of the TOC research articles database.
Vicky served on the TOCICO Board of Directors from 2016–2019 and is a frequent presenter at TOCICO and Operations Research/Decision Sciences conferences. She has received top awards including Fellow of the ORS (UK), the ORSNZ’s premier award the Hans Daellenbach Prize for her contributions to the theory and application of OR, particularly TOC, and most recently the Griffiths Medal for the best paper in the last 2 years in the Health Systems journal.
Roy Stratton
Professor Roy Stratton is an Associate Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Nottingham Trent University and has researched and implemented TOC related developments for over 30 years. He obtained his PhD at Nottingham Trent University and is currently on the Board of Theory of Constraints – International Certification Organization (TOC-ICO). His research is largely case and action research based focusing on flow management in complex environments covering supply chain, project and healthcare. His research appears in the IJOPM, IJPE, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management,
