ERP systems are crucial for managing the increasing amount of data in companies, especially in the 21st century.
Generic ERP systems often lack detailed information about a specific company's current state and are often overdeveloped in one area and underdeveloped in another.
Effective capacity management is necessary for companies to determine when fast response time is possible and whether more capacity is needed in the short term.
