About this Presentation
How We Increased Software Delivery Throughput from 3 Deployments Monthly to 133! tells the real-world story of a software organization that achieved a dramatic, order-of-magnitude improvement in delivery performance. Faced with slow release cycles, bottlenecks, and growing frustration, the team shifted its focus away from isolated optimizations and tools toward flow, constraints, and system-level thinking.
In this session, the presenters share how applying Theory of Constraints (TOC) principles transformed the way work was prioritized, executed, and delivered. By identifying and addressing the true constraints in their delivery pipeline, limiting work-in-progress, reducing multitasking, and improving coordination across development and deployment activities, the team unlocked massive gains in throughput without sacrificing quality.
This case study demonstrates that breakthrough performance does not require heroic effort or endless process changes. Instead, it comes from focusing on the right leverage points, simplifying execution, and aligning the organization around fast, reliable value delivery. Attendees will gain practical insights they can apply to their own software teams to improve speed, predictability, and morale.
