About this Presentation

This presentation examines management attention using the three change questions: What to change?, What to change to?, and How to cause the change?. With constant bombardment by problems management oscillates between focusing on current operations and on long-term health. Management must meet both growth and stability necessary conditions but actions to achieve each are in conflict with each other. Complexity, uncertainty and conflicts waste and distort management attention. Bad multitasking is the core problem. Use the five focusing steps (5FS) to build, capitalize and sustain a competitive edge by applying the flow concepts and using the strategy and tactics (S&T) trees.
