Freya Wester-Ebbinghaus is an SAP Consultant at Milliarum, a leading provider of project and portfolio management solutions based on SAP. Her core competencies include project management, especially Critical Chain Project Management, portfolio management, and resource management.
In her current role at Milliarum, she supports clients from various industries in the implementation, customization, and optimization of SAP systems for their project and portfolio management processes. She works closely with clients to understand their requirements, design and implement solutions, provide training, and ensure ongoing support.
A significant part of her expertise lies in Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) with SAP. Freya Wester-Ebbinghaus helps clients apply CCPM principles within their SAP systems to streamline project schedules, manage resource constraints, and ensure timely project delivery. This involves configuring SAP tools to support buffer management, prioritizing tasks, and continuously monitoring project progress to mitigate risks and delays.

Alka Wadhwa is an experienced consultant and process improvement expert with over 24 years of expertise in the Theory of Constraints (TOC), Lean Six Sigma, and organizational performance optimization. She has successfully led projects in healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing, driving significant improvements such as a 67% boost in hospital operations and a 140% increase in outpatient visits.
Previously, Alka Wadhwa spent 17+ years at GE Global Research Center, where she led initiatives to enhance various GE businesses through advanced technologies, process redesign, and system optimization. Founder of Better Solutions Consulting, LLC, she specializes in using TOC, Six Sigma, and data analytics to streamline operations and build high-performance teams.
Her work has earned her multiple accolades, including the Empire State Award of Excellence in healthcare.
Steffen Wester-Ebbinghaus
Steffen Wester-Ebbinghaus has been a distinguished consultant and project lead specializing in SAP project, portfolio, and resource management since obtaining his Diplom-Kaufmann (equivalent to a Master's degree in Business Administration) from the University of Paderborn. His academic journey included an Erasmus scholarship at the University of Alcalá de Henares, where he participated in an exchange program that broadened his international perspective. Steffen began his career in 1990 with a consulting company specializing in SAP. He then successfully founded his own company that provided SAP project management consulting. His entrepreneurial spirit and expertise led to the co-founding of Milliarum in 2006, a company dedicated to project, portfolio, and resource management based on SAP solutions. He has executed numerous high-profile projects both in Germany and internationally, working with large and medium-sized companies across various industrial and service sectors. His projects leverage SAP functionalities such as Project System (PS), Project and Portfolio Management (PPM), and integrated logistics and accounting. Beyond SAP EPPM implementation, Steffen has a strong focus on process improvement and lean project management. His innovative approach led to the conception of combining Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) and Theory of Constraints (TOC) principles with the integrated power of SAP ERP systems. As the managing director of Milliarum, Steffen collaborates closely with customers and partner companies to ensure the continuous development and enhancement of Milliarum solutions. His leadership and vision have been instrumental in driving the company’s success and delivering measurable benefits to clients through cutting-edge SAP solutions.
