We’re excited to provide FREE access to 9 of Theory of Constraints (TOC) government presentations describing a variety of applications and discussions of TOC in state and national government.
We recognize that all countries are faced with the massive government problem of increased demand for government services with a significant decrease in funding to provide the services. The organizations described in these presentations have made significant improvements by using the TOC philosophy to continuously improve.
Kristen Cox is a manager in Utah state government and has applied TOC in numerous departments. She has improved quality, reduced lead times, and decreased expenses simultaneously in a period of increased demand for services. Kevin Fox has consulted with different states in the implementation of TOC in state government. Ken Miller provides an understanding of the government environment and a number of critical issues. Col. Daniel Gillan, et al. describe a seven year journey of a US Marine overhaul and repair facility using TOC. Nerius Jasinavicius describes the introduction of TOC in Lithuania. Professor Boaz Ronen, et al. describe the implementation and results of applying TOC in the justice system in Israel. Yuji Kishira describes the use of TOC in the Fukushima prefecture on public works projects to restore the community after the earthquake and tsunami.
These applications were selected to build your understanding of the potential for use of TOC in government. The presentations are sequenced from simple to complex. The same TOC concepts are applied across a wide array of government units with great success.
We have listed below the references and abstracts for the free presentations on this portal. In addition, we have provided a comprehensive annotated bibliography of ALL the government presentations and webinar videos currently in our archives. And, at the end of this annotated bibliography is a link to the TOC booklist.
Our hope is that you’ll learn from these 9 presentations and are moved join TOCICO to gain access to the rest of our amazing content.
